This policy explains what personal information Equilibrion Ltd collects through this website, why we collect it and what your rights are. We keep it short because we collect very little.

Who we are

Equilibrion Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales, company number 14464139. Our registered address is Redlands, Cliftonville, Northampton, NN1 5BE, UK. For the purposes of UK data protection law we are the controller of the personal information described below. You can contact us about this policy at info@equilibrion.co.uk.

What we collect

When you use the enquiry form. The form on our Contact page asks for the subject of your enquiry, your name and email address, a message, and, if you choose to give them, your phone number and organisation. We use these details to read and reply to your enquiry. Your message is sent to our enquiries inbox by email and is not stored on the website.

When you email or phone us. We keep the details you give us so that we can deal with your request.

Spam protection. To stop automated abuse of the form, the website briefly records a one-way code made from your connection address, for up to an hour. It cannot be turned back into your address and is not used for anything else.

Technical information. Like any website, our web server may keep standard technical logs, such as the address of your device, the pages requested and the time, to keep the site secure and running.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools, so there is no cookie banner to accept.

The Contact page can show a Google map. The map is only loaded if you press the button to show it. If you do, Google receives information such as your connection address and may use cookies under its own privacy policy. If you do not press the button, nothing is sent to Google.

Our team pages link to LinkedIn profiles. If you follow those links, LinkedIn’s own privacy policy applies.

Why we use your information

We use your details to reply to your enquiry and to keep a record of it. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us and, where you ask about working with us, taking steps at your request before a possible agreement. We do not use your details for marketing, and we do not sell them.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the companies that provide our website hosting and email, and only so that they can provide those services to us. We may also share it where the law requires. If information is ever transferred outside the UK, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as we need to deal with them, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case of follow-up questions. After that we delete them.

Your rights

You have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to our use of it and, where it applies, to receive it in a portable form. To use any of these rights, email info@equilibrion.co.uk.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the website works, we will update this page.
